Still in the dark

I am leaving a review / suggestion. And I am not going to rate until I have a chance to use.....But I can't use or even set up since this product assumed I have automobile electrical wiring experience. In my package I only received the product.....I didn't get instructions and I didn't get suggestions. So until I can afford or find someone with experience on this product I will wait to rate.

Hello! We are happy to assist whenever customers reach out. Just send us an email and we will get back to you ASAP.

Installation is fairly simple although with any aftermarket electrical modification to your vehicle, it is helpful to have basic electrical knowledge. If not, it is highly recommended to have a professional assist with installation.

The controller we provide is a generic rock light controller. Our light up foot pegs are designed to install exactly the same as you would install rock lights. In fact, if you already have 5 pin rock lights installed, it is as simple as plugging the foot peg cord into an open connector. With no exisiting rock lights to plug in to, you will need to install the controller by hooking the red to positive power and the black to negative. There are a few different ways that this can be done which varies based on your vehicle. For instance, JL with stock AUX switches can choose to wire the lights to those switches. You can add your own aftermarket switch. It can also be wired directly to the battery, but you will want to insure that the controller is turned off when not in use to insure it does not drain the battery.

Here is the install instructions/wiring diagram for the controller: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a-67fIt3X5YL2RiK-FYNqU063cNDyt1I/view
